My wife and I usually have fish and chips when we visit G’s Golden Chippie in Otterburn Gardens, just off Victoria Gardens in Acklam.
When we went in, though, we found they had started to do that Teesside favourite - the parmesan - and as well as the chicken variety they were offering the original pork version. I plumped for that while she chose chicken and we planned to taste test each others' at home.
